St. Patrick's Day Recipe: Shepherd's Pie
Preheat oven to 190°C.
In a large skillet, heat Frylite Solution’s cooking oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion and carrot. Cook, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned and the vegetables are softened.
Add the frozen peas, beef broth, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
Spread the mashed potatoes over the top of the beef mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the potatoes are golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
