Northern Ireland

  • Frylite are licensed for waste collection by the Environment and Heritage Service as a Carrier and Broker under the provisions of the Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999.
  • We work with the Environmental Sections of all Councils in Ireland to regularise the Waste Oil Collection processes. Registration Number ROC 212 Carrier / Broker.

 

Republic of Ireland

  • Frylite hold a multi-regional waste collection permit that authorises the collection of waste from all counties in ROI.
  • The permit has been issued by Dublin City Council under the provisions of the Waste Management (Collection Permit) Regulations 2007 (as amended).
  • Permit number: WCP-DC-10-1297.

At considerable costs to ourselves, we register every customer on our database to enable us to make annual returns to the EPA regarding the source of all Used Cooking Oil collected by us.

 

European Categorising Of Waste Activities

  • Frylite Group is licensed for waste activities with the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) Code 20-01-25 Edible Oils and Fats.
  • Frylite‚Äôs activities are classified under the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) as: 38210 Treatment and Disposal of Non-Hazardous Waste.

 

Waste Management Licencing For Processing Site And Transfer Depots

Frylite Ltd
Frylite’s processing site in Strabane is licensed for the processing of waste by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) in accordance with the Waste and Contaminated Land (NI ) Order 1997. Waste Management Licence (WML) number: WML 26/26.

 

Frylite (Dublin) Ltd
Frylite’s Dublin depot is permitted for the handling and onward transfer of waste by South Dublin County Council in accordance with the Waste Management (Facility Permit and Registration) Regulations 2007 (as amended). Waste Facility Permit (WFP) number: WFP-DS-10-0009.

 

Frylite (Ireland) Ltd

Cork Depot
Frylite’s Cork depot is permitted for the handling and onward transfer of waste by Cork County Council in accordance with the Waste Management (Facility Permit and Registration) Regulations 2007 (as amended). Waste Facility Permit number: WFP-CK-11-0092.

Galway Depot

Frylite’s Galway depot is permitted for the handling and onward transfer of waste by Galway County Council in accordance with the Waste Management (Facility Permit and Registration) Regulations 2007 (as amended). Waste Facility Permit number: WFP-10-G-0007-01.

Cross-Border Transfers Of Waste

In accordance with Waste Management (Registration of Brokers and Dealers) Regulations 2008, each Frylite company must be registered for the transfrontier (cross-border) shipment of waste e.g. waste transferred from the Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland. Registration is granted through Dublin City Council.
