Marketing Executive
The Job
The successful person will report directly to the Managing Director and will be involved in working closely with the Sales team. You will be responsible for marketing Frylite to the standard required of a recognised national brand and be tasked with delivering ambitious plans to mark 30 years in business in 2018.
The company is looking for someone who is outgoing, with a spontaneous element to their thought process, ability to adapt and produce exciting materials. The successful candidate will be joining a very successful business, which to date has achieved success with a minimum outlay on their marketing function.
This is one off opportunity to join a successful company, which will give the right candidate the opportunity to develop and drive a new marketing strategy with the end goal to be the best in our market in relation to customer service, growth and profitability.
Your duties will include:
• Developing a marketing strategy to dovetail with the company’s aggressive growth plans.
• Creating a new suite of brochures and technical information documents.
• Developing a new corporate image to assist with marketing campaigns and sales presentations.
• Working closely with the IT department to enhance our existing website.
• Working closely with the IT Department to grow our social media platforms with input from other departments within the business.
• Planning trade shows and exhibitions aimed at developing the Frylite brand throughout Ireland
• Manage and review marketing costs along with the effectiveness of marketing plans
The Person
This successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in the food industry or within a distribution company. The person will be able to demonstrate success in their previous roles and have the energy and drive to join a very dynamic company. You must also possess

Driver Team Leader (Greater Belfast Area)
( Average earnings 24-26K per annum subject to review )
The Job
As a Driver Team Leader based in the Greater Belfast Area, you will lead and develop a team of well trained, motivated, customer focused drivers who will enhance strong relationships with our customers on a daily basis. Contracted hours of work are 45 per week and a structured pay scale is in place to reward performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of multi drop drivers to ensure all runs are completed for customers daily
- Development and training of the team
- Recruitment and Selection of your team
- Ensuring professional customer service in the team at all times – leading by example in your own scheduled deliveries and collections
- Liaise with Transport Manager in weekly rota completion and holiday scheduling
- Ensuring Quality and Health and Safety standards are met at all times
- Assisting the Transport Manager to ensure compliance regulations within the team are met
- Assisting with stock checks daily & weekly in vehicles and in Depot
- Ensuring cleanliness targets are met in both vehicles and Depot
The PersonÂ
You must have:
- 1 year experience of working in a Team Lead role
- A Class C licence along with CPC card and Digi Tacho card.
- A clean driving license without any endorsements
- 1 years experience of carrying out multi drop deliveries
- Driving knowledge of Greater Belfast area.
- Good communication and motivation skills
- Experience of working with customers and have a customer focus
- Experience of using hand held devices would be desirable

HGV Mechanic
Location: Strabane Depot
Hours of Work:
3.30pm to 1am Monday to Thursday and 2.30pm to 12 midnight on Friday
The Role:
Reporting to the Team Leader, the HGV will work as a member of the maintenance team. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the Frylite Group fleet which includes rigids, artics, trailers, vans and lorries based throughout all our depots. You will also be responsible for vehicle tests, emergency breakdown repairs, routine maintenance schedules and daily vehicle check repairs.
The Person
The successful candidate must
• Have at least 3 years experience of maintaining commercial vehicles
• Have good working knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulics
• Have good working knowledge of diesel engines
• Have knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes
• Possess a full driving licence. Possession of a HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 license would be an added advantage.
• Be willing to travel to other company sites as and when required

Maintenance Electrician
Location: Strabane Depot
Hours of Work:
7am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the Maintenance Electrician will work as a member of the maintenance team. You will be responsible for
• Carrying out repairs, overhauls and installations as well as general maintenance and breakdowns in Production / Facilities / Garage / Building, areas.
• Fault finding electrical and / or mechanical faults and repairing equipment in a breakdown situation.
• Assisting with call outs to ensure reliability and performance of the plants machinery in line with agreed service levels.
• Proactively identifying and rectifying potential equipment / services issues by carrying out monthly Preventative Maintenance Schedules (PMS).
• Applying modern maintenance techniques, to allow potential failures to be identified and eliminated or reduced as quickly as possible.
The Person:
Applicants must be time served, with 3 years post apprenticeship in a production/manufacturing environment preferably with experience of maintenance work in the food industry. NVQ Level 3 electrical engineering or equivalent is also desirable. Experience in Auto Electrics would be also be desirable.

MULTI DROP HGV DRIVERS ACROSS ALL DEPOTS

Our depots are located in Strabane Co Tyrone, Kilcolgan Co Galway, Little Island in Cork City and our new exciting depot located in Swords Co.Dublin.
The Role:
As a Frylite Driver you will carry out multi-drop deliveries of fresh cooking oil to catering and food processing establishments and collect used cooking oil from our customers.
Frylite delivery trucks are loaded and unloaded for our drivers by a loading team who work evenings to have your truck ready for despatch. Frylite are introducing a new fleet of vehicles and we use modern hand-held PDA devices to record our customer deliveries. Contracted hours of work are 45 per week and a pay scale is in place to reward performance.
The Person:
- You must have a Class C licence along with CPC card and Digi Tacho card.
- A clean driving license without any endorsements
- 1 years experience of carrying out multi drop deliveries
- Experience of working with customers
- Experience of using hand held devices would be desirable
- If you have a Class B licence you will also be considered, as assistance via an in house training programme to obtain a full C licence will be given.
