The Frylite Group is the leading supplier of vegetable oil and collectors of used cooking oil in Ireland with its Head Office in Strabane Co Tyrone, and depots in Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Coleraine.  Frylite Ltd now wish to recruit :-




This post is based at our site in Strabane and the normal hours of work are 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. However applicants will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business. You will report to the operations manager and will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and modifying of plant machinery based in Strabane and throughout all our depots. Your role will involve supporting the production team to achieve high levels of output and quality whilst ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently. You will also be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules as well as the upkeep of the necessary paper work to comply with regulations and procedures to audit standards.


The successful candidate must

  • Be a time served fitter
  • Have at least 3 years hands on experience preferably in a fast moving, high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Have good knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment.
  • Have good knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes
  • Possess a full driving licence.
  • Be willing to travel to other company sites as and when required

To be based at our Cork Depot, GB Business Park, Little Island, Cork. Hours of work will be 45 per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritising work loads to ensure an efficient flow and control of oil intake and despatch, communicate effectively with and carry out instructions as directed by the Depot Manager, maintain a clean and safe yard area and ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and HACCP regulations, environmental procedures and company rules, performing all yard duties alongside a supervisory role.


The successful applicant must have 2 years experience in a Production environment, and must have the ability to provide leadership, plan and prioritise workloads, delegate tasks to team, communicate effectively, be confident in making decisions, follow procedures/instructions and be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others. The successful candidate should ideally hold a valid forklift licence.

Van Delivery Salespersons (Ref No CVD 01/2015)

also based at our Cork Depot, GB Business Park, Little Island, Cork. Hours of work will be 45 per week. The duties will involve carrying out multi-drop deliveries to catering and food processing establishments and collect used cooking oil from customers throughout Munster. All applicants must be able to communicate effectively with customers and within their team and be able to carry out tasks that require physical effort. Experience using a hand held device is an advantage. Possession of a Class 2 licence and full CPC certificates to drive a vehicle between 7.5 and 18 tonne while desirable is not an automatic exclusion.
