Distribution Customer Service Administrator (Ref DCS0817/)
The Role:
Based at our Head Office in Strabane, Co.Tyrone. Your role will be to deliver excellent customer service to our customers while working as part of a growing team which is comprised of route planners, distribution staff and drivers. You will offer verbal support and advice to customers when they have queries regarding deliveries, and whilst doing this you’ll be ensuring a high standard of customer care. You will also be expected to make proactive and reactive calls to customers and work closely with the drivers to make sure customer needs are met.
Reporting directly to the Transport & Distribution Manager, you will also provide administrative support to the Distribution Department, ensuring that all tasks are carried out accurately and efficiently within the required timescales.
The Person:
The successful applicant must have at least 2 years experience in a customer services support role ideally within a distribution environment that is focused on sales growth and achievement of targets. You must have experience of direct contact with customers over the phone. The ideal candidate must be upbeat, enthusiastic and passionate about helping customers. You will also be an effective communicator with an excellent telephone manner and be empathetic and understanding when speaking to customers and colleagues.

High Level Apprentice Engineer (Mechatronics)

Gold Programme in Partnership with South West College


Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, responsibilities will include Service, Diagnostic Testing, and Repair of Company Fleet, Preventative Maintenance, and Repair of Production Machinery and Facility Equipment. Also you will be involved in preventative maintenance, monitoring, and repair of our Water Treatment Plant.  This post is based in our Strabane Depot and the successful candidate will also have an opportunity on occasions to travel to our depots throughout Ireland.

Hours of Work¬†: 8AM ‚Äď 5PM Monday ‚Äď Friday, (College day release facilitated)

Main Duties will include:

  • Working as part of a dedicated engineering team delivering first class service to dealers and customer
  • Assisting with maintenance and servicing on production and facility equipment as well as servicing our company fleet.

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum 80 UCAS points,140 UCAS points for Fast Track option, and GCSE English and Maths Grade C.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good general interest in mechanical and electrical maintenance, diesel hydraulic power and auto electrics
  • Be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Hold a valid clean drivers licence
  • Be computer literate in the usual range of Microsoft Products
  • Self motivated and high energy
  • Ability to work within a team

The Role:

As a Frylite Driver you will carry out multi-drop deliveries of fresh cooking oil to catering and food processing establishments and collect used cooking oil from our customers.

Frylite delivery trucks are loaded and unloaded for our drivers by a loading team who work evenings to have your truck ready for despatch. Frylite are introducing a new fleet of vehicles and we use modern hand-held PDA devices to record our customer deliveries. Contracted hours of work are 45 per week and a pay scale is in place to reward performance.

The Person:

  • You must have a Class C licence along with CPC card and Digi Tacho card.
  • A clean driving license without any endorsements
  • 1 years experience of carrying out multi drop deliveries
  • Experience of working with customers
  • Experience of using hand held devices would be desirable
  • If you have a Class B licence you will also be considered, as assistance via an in house training programme to obtain a full C licence will be given.
