DUBLIN MULTI DROP HGV DRIVER

Frylite are the leading supplier of vegetable oil and collectors of used cooking oil in Ireland. Frylite are a recognised brand throughout Ireland and our success has been built on a strong customer focus and a reputation for reliable service.

Frylite have a wide customer base which includes independent restaurants, pubs and hotels, schools, contract caterers and well known food chains.

The Job

You will carry out multi-drop deliveries of fresh cooking oil to catering and food

processing establishments and collect used cooking oil from our customers.

Frylite delivery trucks are loaded and unloaded for our drivers by a loading team who work evenings to have your truck ready for despatch.

Contracted hours of work are 45 per week.

The Person

  • You must have a Class C licence along with CPC card and Digi Tacho card. If you have a Class B licence you will also be considered, as assistance via an in house training school to obtain a full C licence will be given.
  • A clean driving license without any endorsements
  • 1 years experience of carrying out multi drop deliveries
  • Driving knowledge of Dublin City and surrounding Leinster area
  • Experience of working with customers
  • Experience of using hand held devices would be desirable

TRANSPORT HAULAGE TEAM LEADER (Ref No THTL1216/)

The Job:

Due to company restructuring, we have a requirement for a  Team Leader to join our Internal Haulage division, based at our Head office in Strabane.  You will report directly to the Transport Manager and lead a team of between 5 to 10 people focused on achieving Company goals through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Ireland’s leading Food Distribution firms. This role would ideally suit someone who is looking for a challenge and opportunity to progress within a growing and expanding company.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve internal haulage targets by optimizing Team resources.
  • Ensure all inter depot haulage needs are carried with a specific focus on cost and efficiency.
  • Ensure your team are compliant with driver working time regulations
  • Liaise with garage/maintenance to ensure availability of vehicles and equipment for servicing so as to maximize usage.
  • Ensure your team works to standards outlined in SOP’s, with adherence to H&S and Quality
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and general upkeep standards are maintained
  • Ensure team members receive training and support to improve flexibility and performance.
  • Liaise with Transport Manager to optimize weekly Haulage Rota requirements.

The Person:

  • Must have a Class 1 License, CPC certificate and digi tacho card. You must also have a clean licence with no penalty points and a good driving safety record
  • Must also have a good knowledge or road networks throughout Ireland
  • Have at least 3 years experience of working in a similar role within a distribution environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building successful teams
  • Have an appreciation or experience of working in an environment that is measured and target driven by KPIs and score cards
  • A sound level of IT Literacy across MS Office suite.
  • Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data
  • Robust understanding of driver working time regulations
  • A proven track record in ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to  .

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Production targets by optimizing use of resources
  • Ensure KPI targets are met.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out using SOP’s, with specific focus on H&S and Quality.
  • Reconciliation of Stock.
  • Liaise with maintenance to ensure availability of production equipment for PMS so as to maximize uptime.
  • Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are met
  • Lead and direct teams to ensure compliance with external and internal audits
  • Ensure team members Development, through training and support, to improve flexibility and performance.
  • Liaise with other Team Leaders to achieve best practice, and performance.

The Person:

  • Liaise with other staff in Distribution, and Operations, to ensure availability of vehicles and equipment for PMS so as to maximize usage.
  • Ensure your team works to procedures outlined in SOP’s, with adherence to H&S and Quality
  • Ensure team members Development, through training and support, to improve flexibility and performance.
  • Liaise with Procurement Manager, and Financial Controller to ensure effective sourcing of parts within Budgetary control.
  • Available to work out of hours on Installation projects, unscheduled breakdowns, and preventative maintenance.

The Person:

  • Have at least 3 years experience of working in a similar role within a engineering / maintenance environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building successful teams
  • Have an appreciation, or experience, of working in an environment that achieves the needs of the business by utilising KPI and Score Card metrics.
